SPA’s Sea Land Air (SLA) Division supports a diverse portfolio of national security government clients, including the Undersea Enterprise, the Navy Surface Community, the Navy MPTE Enterprise, the Air Force, Army, DoD Agencies, DARPA, international clients including the Canadian Navy and Australian Defence Force.  Our primary objective is to provide timely, objective and analytic assessments that integrate the policy, operational, technical, programmatic and acquisition aspects of our clients’ challenges.

 

Leveraging both in-domain and cross-domain expertise to maximize our clients’ success, SLA Division acts as trusted agents to senior decision-makers and key leaders and excels at providing data driven analytic insights, systems engineering, strategies and plans that address current and emerging challenges to national security.

 

The Integrated Warfare Systems Group's (IWSG) focus is to provide engineering, technical and programmatic support to the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors and Lasers (PEO IWS 2.0) Directorate. Efforts include overarching program management, test and evaluation, systems engineering, systems integration, international, cyber security, IT network and programmatic support for over 25 PEO IWS 2.0 advanced radar, phased array radar, electronic warfare, electro-optic, decoy and directed energy programs. 

 

IWSG staff support a variety of tasks including: support and completion of major technical reviews; producing required acquisition documentation; meeting critical program milestone deadlines; managing program needs and external requirements, and ensuring the right resources are provided to the right priorities at the right time.

SPA’s IWS Group office is located at 20 M Street in Southeast DC, conveniently down the street from our clients at the Washington Navy Yard.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a mid-level Program Analyst to provide programmatic support to the U.S. Navy Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors & Lasers Directorate (PEO IWS 2.0).

Hybrid work is allowed but you must have the flexibility to work at least 1 day per week in the Washington Navy Yard area. 

You will be expected to work with the Government Program Manager to support current and future Milestone approval process and Request for Proposal (RFP) development or related efforts, specifically Acquisition Strategy/Plans, recommendations on contract structure and CDRL development, and Milestone documentation development, adjudication, and tracking. You will collaborate with stakeholders across industry and Government to ensure program requirements, capabilities, planning, and development supports program schedules and requirements. You will maintain and update program documentation, including, but not limited to, program schedule(s), organization charts, program status briefings and other documentation as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • At least 4 years relevant work experience including military or acquisition program office environment experience, to include practical working knowledge and experience with acquisition documentation, processes, protocols, formats, and deadlines
  • Active DoD SECRET security clearance, with the ability to maintain the clearance throughout employment

Desired Qualifications

  • Surface Navy or electronic warfare experience
