The Joint, Training, and Acquisition Group (JTAG) supports a broad array of clients with the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (A&S) and Research and Engineering (R&E) on cyber, space, nuclear, intelligence and acquisition efforts. The Nuclear Triad Acquisition Program Analyst will support the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Strategic/Space/Intelligence Portfolio Management in the Strategic Deterrence and Capabilities Directorate. Position is located at the Pentagon.

Responsibilities

SPA is seeking an experienced Acquisition Program Analyst to support OSD oversight of the Nuclear Triad sustainment and modernization, with a primary focus on the modernization of the Long Range Stand-Off (LRSO) and/or Re-entry Vehicle programs. Must be capable of developing decision-ready material for senior leaders and have the initiative to navigate headquarters and acquisition processes to support the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) portfolio management responsibilities. The Senior Program Analyst will support portfolio management and oversight of systems through development, production and fielding to the warfighter.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience with Nuclear Weapons and weapon systems at the operational or programmatic level
  • 5 years of experience with the Defense Acquisition System
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field with a Master's Degree 
  • Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Willingness for occasional travel (may be required (less than 10%))

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Experience as a DoD Program Manager/Deputy Program Manager is a plus
  • Experience supporting the LRSO or RV-21 programs
  • Special Access Program eligibility
