SPA’s Sea Land Air (SLA) Division supports a diverse portfolio of national security government clients, including the Undersea Enterprise, the Navy Surface Community, the Navy MPTE Enterprise, the Army, DoD Agencies, DARPA, OSD, international clients including the Canadian Navy and Australian Defense Force.  Our primary objective is to provide timely, objective and analytic assessments that integrate the policy, operational, technical, programmatic and acquisition aspects of our clients’ challenges.

 

Leveraging both in-domain and cross-domain expertise to maximize our clients’ success, SLA Division acts as trusted agents to senior decision-makers and key leaders and excels at providing data driven analytic insights, systems engineering, strategies and plans that address current and emerging challenges to national security.

 

Within the SLA Division, Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) comprises more than 80 staff that provide program and project management, systems and digital engineering, software, test & evaluation, logistics, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT support to more than 40 programs and projects in the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors Directorate (PEO IWS 2.0) and customers in Naval Surface Warfare Dahlgren Division’s Integrated Combat System department, Office of Naval Research, and the Navy’s Team SUBS office.

 

SPA has an immediate need for a Electronic Warface Systems Analyst. 

Responsibilities

We are seeking an Operations Systems Analyst to provide threat system analysis of U.S. Navy Electronic Warfare systems in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Electromagnetic and Sensor Systems Department (B), Electronic Warfare and Spectrum Operations (EWSO) Division (B30). The B30 department conducts research, development, test and evaluation in emerging electromagnetic fields to enhance our ability to assess and maneuver in the Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS), for purposes such as communication, navigation, advanced threat characterization and identification, cognitive decision support and collaborative weapon sensor engagements to enhance the warfighters ability to assess and engage emerging threats. 

You must have ability to work from NSWC Dahlgren 4-5 days per week on average.   

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • At least eight years’ experience or equivalent in threat system analysis and/or operation of U.S. Navy Electronic Warfare systems
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Electronic Maneuver Warfare systems and operations, Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations, and generation of Electronic Warfare Gaps and Capabilities
  • Experience with systems development and/or testing and creating/reviewing technical documentation, CONOPS, CONEMP, and TTPs
