The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues.

 

 

CIG has a need for a Supply Chain SME to assist our customers at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) in their office of Industrial Base Management and Supply Chain (IBMSC).     

 

Responsibilities

The candidate will work closely with government and contractor technical experts to analyze and assess the impacts of events on the global supply chain for public health supplies and pharmaceuticals. The candidate will also be responsible for providing expertise, analysis, and experiential knowledge as part of a multi-disciplinary team answering questions for senior leaders. The Supply Chain SME will also be responsible for monitoring the supply chain and surfacing issues for the group's awareness as appropriate. Knowledge of data sources, analytical tools, and other sources of information are desired. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience working with producers of medical devices or pharmaceuticals with an established and trusted network of contacts throughout the industry.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Ten (10) years of experience working in the global or domestic supply chain for medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Must have active DOD Secret Clearance.
  • Must be able to maintain clearance and acquire DHS sutiability.

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Experience developing briefs, whitepapers, or other reports for senior leaders.
  • Relevant certifications related to supply chain management or logistics.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Washington DC Pay Transparency Range:  $90,000 – $163,000.
