SPA’s Sea Land Air (SLA) Division supports a diverse portfolio of national security government clients, including the Undersea Enterprise, the Navy Surface Community, the Navy MPTE Enterprise, the Army, DoD Agencies, DARPA, OSD, international clients including the Canadian Navy and Australian Defense Force.  Our primary objective is to provide timely, objective and analytic assessments that integrate the policy, operational, technical, programmatic and acquisition aspects of our clients’ challenges.

 

Leveraging both in-domain and cross-domain expertise to maximize our clients’ success, SLA Division acts as trusted agents to senior decision-makers and key leaders and excels at providing data driven analytic insights, systems engineering, strategies and plans that address current and emerging challenges to national security.

 

SPA’s Air Force and Army Programs Group provides aviation-focused analysis and program management for life-cycle systems engineering and logistics support, rapid capabilities development and fielding, cyber warfare operations, nuclear C3, and integrated air and missile defense planning. We provide advanced studies, wargame development, and analysis to support materiel operations, supply strategies, and fleet readiness.

 

SPA has an near term need for a Senior Program Analyst in the Washington DC area supporting the Air Force's Rapid Capabiltiies Office.  Work is expected to commence in early October 2024 in both Arlington, VA and Bolling AFB. #MC

Responsibilities

You will draft, review, and analyze program requirements and associated administrative documentation. The analysis will encompass areas such as basing decision packages, beddown schedule updates, program execution metrics, and deployment requirement documentation. Assist with all operational requirements analysis during system acquisitions and during transition to sustainment. Provides expert independent services and leadership in specialized technical areas necessary for effective implementation of projects. Provides functional consulting, analysis, and methodological support to large, complex projects. Execute multifaceted technical tasks, applies analytical problem-solving methodologies, provides technical advice and direction, interfaces with client and/or prime contractor representatives, and effectively allocates resources.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  Washington, D.C. Pay Transparency Range:  $195-215k.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Education: Master’s Degree; A Bachelor’s degree and 4 additional years to the minimum experience required (19 years of experience) is acceptable in lieu of a master's degree
  • Minimum Experience: 15 years in an acquisition related discipline; at least 2 years of experience in DoD/IC environment with demonstrated SCI/SAP working environment experience
  • Has specialized experience in planning, evaluating, directing, and coordinating research and development projects. Provides technical advice to members of the project team
  • TS/SCI Clearance
