The Undersea Technology Analysis Group (UTAG), within the Sea, Land, & Air Division in SPA, conducts rigorous and objective analyses to enable the Navy and other DoD organizations to make decisions, plans, and strategies to deliver emerging undersea technologies and warfighting capabilities. We support clients across the undersea and naval special warfare enterprises, including those within resourcing and requirements (OPNAV N97), acquisition (program offices for undersea technologies and naval special warfare), and science and technology (Office of Naval Research, DARPA) Our enduring capabilities include:
SPA has a need for a talented senior program manager to support a NAVSEA 05T Additive Manufacturing (AM) Special Project Office (SPO).
This Senior Program Manager will support advanced and additive manufacturing plans, projects and analyses to assess and recommend solutions for current and future fleet integration and use of advanced & additive manufacturing technology, materials and components. Advanced manufacturing technologies may include manufacturing and repair processes utilizing computing (i.e. CAD, CAE, and CAM), robotics, automation and control technologies. Support may include, but not be limited to materials and material database development; material characterization and process development; specification and standards development; shipboard integration and testing of advanced and additive manufacturing equipment; technical data package for AM components development and management; file sharing and networking of equipment; interfacing with various ship class program offices and fleet outreach for development of integration requirements.
