The Space and Intelligence Division provides professional services to the US Space Force, Combatant Commands, Intelligence Community, and NASA. Our work includes enterprise architectural assessments, systems engineering and integration, test, planning and execution, cost estimating and analysis, acquisition support, and cybersecurity.  We are trusted partners developing approaches and concepts to meet emerging high priority needs, assessing cutting-edge technologies, and supporting capabilities for our National Defense.

 

The Space Systems Group, part of SPA’s Space and Intelligence Division, provides timely and objective assessments and recommendations integrating technical, operational, programmatic, policy and business analysis. We focus on our key clients in the Space community including the US Space Force’s Space Systems Command (USSF/SSC), which is one of the three designated USSF Field Commands. We work tirelessly to provide integrated solutions based on information and communications throughout the chain of command. We provide clear and consistent analysis and recommendations that are aligned to strategic and leadership goals while balancing the ability to execute on time and on budget within the technical communities. SPA has an immediate need for a Human Resources Analyst.

Responsibilities

This position interacts with Space Systems Command, BZ leadership and their staff on a daily basis. The individual will provide human resources and personnel management support to Space Force customers in El Segundo, CA. You will be in the premier space acquisition organization responsible for delivering space-based capabilities and effects to our warfighters and allied partners. Key duties associated with this position include:

  • Apply critical thinking and experience to develop solutions for our customer’s most challenging issues.
  • Manage/oversee all the Division’s human resource and personnel programs.
  • Primary focal point for interface and coordination with the Management Operations Division (BZO) on all Division HR and personnel processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and consultation assistance to managers and employees on all Division HR and personnel processes.
  • Manage all the Division’s HR taskers through the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) system.
  • Build weekly reports and staff charts on all HR actions/suspenses.
  • Understand Department of Defense, Air Force, and Space Force organizations, processes, procedures, instructions, and guidance.
  • Support customer meetings, which includes providing read-ahead materials, drafting meeting minutes, and tracking assigned action items.

Qualifications

Required qualifications

  • Completion of an associate’s degree in a related field
  • 10 or more years of relevant experience
  • Expertise using MS Office applications and DoD, Air Force, and/or Space Force training tools and systems to include myDecs, myEval, and ETMS2
  • US Citizenship and possess an active DoD Secret clearance

Preferred qualifications

  • Completion of a bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Possess a DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Facility/Special Access Program clearance
  • 20 or more years of relevant experience

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  California Pay Transparency Range:  110k - 135k
