SPA has an immediate need for a Journeyman ISSO located at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.

Responsibilities

Performing threat and vulnerability assessments. Applying security-related software tools to manage and control classified information systems. Managing the configuration of classified information systems. Leveraging experience uploading and downloading files across classified networks operating at different classification levels. Controlling and recording all incoming and outgoing digital media. Accomplishing self-assessments using the Management Internal Control Toolset (MICT). Experience resolving information systems security incidents. Experience developing and critically reviewing information assurance and cyber security documentation.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • DoD 8570 Information Assurance Management Level I and GIAC Security Leadership Certification, Security+, or equivalent certifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of classified information systems experience working with an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to develop and implement DoD security controls on DoD ACAT I, ACAT II, or other ACAT programs
  • Experience developing IA Standard Operating Procedures, System Security Plans (SSPs), and implementing audits
  • Journeyman level, must have a high school diploma and a minimum of five (5) years of experience performing full time DoD security functions

  • Twelve (12) months of security experience in a SAP or SCI environment within the last three (3) years

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance

Desired Qualifications: 

  • DoD Directive 8140.01 IS and IA certifications
  • Air Force Special Access Authorization Tool experience
  • Experience implementing the Risk Management Framework (RMF) per the Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG)
  • Bachelor’s degree is highly desired
