The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

 

SPA's Strategic Division's Strategic Development Group (SDG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering support, Systems Safety support and Financial Analysis support.

 

SDG is hiring for a Technical Program Analyst - Subject Matter Expert. 

Responsibilities

The Analyst will serve as a Subject Matter Expert providing support to Strategic Weapons Facility, Pacfic (SWFPAC) Project Team in Bangor, WA. Specifically, the analyst will help the Project Team with coordination between Strategic System Programs (SSP) command and SWFPAC departments for the establishment of new SWF operations facilities and security programs in support of the D5LE2 and Sea Launched Cruise Missile (SLCM-N) programs. Additionally, the candidate will provide direct support to the facility for programs and projects as directed by SSP. This will generally involve interfacing with senior government and industry stakeholders; participating in planning meetings (both in person and virtually); reviewing and providing feedback on technical plans and processes; and assisting with the resolution of issues.

 

The analyst will be expected to attend in-person meetings as required in the Bangor, WA area.

 

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. State of Washington Pay Transparency Range: $190,000 - 225,000/year.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizen with DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Master's degree or higher in Engineering. 
  • 20+ of technical engineering management associated with US submarine programs with a focus on submarine construction, submarine design, non-propulsion electronic system design and integration, and strategic weapons system production and system integration.
  • Familiarity or professional experience with Strategic Weapons Facility requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • SSP Missile and/or NAVSEA Submarine Acquisition Program Management experience.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders across both government and industry.

  • Engineering Division / Department Management Experience.
