The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

 

SPA's Strategic Division's Strategic Development Group (SDG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering support, Systems Safety support and Financial Analysis support. SDG is hiring now for a Master Scheduler at the Washington Navy Yard.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  Washington, DC Pay Transparency Range:  $100,000 – $150,000.

Responsibilities

The Master Scheduler will manage Integrated Master Schedules for Reentry Systems programs. They will provide technical and programmatic systems engineering support to the TRIDENT II missile. In addition, they will support headquarters-level planning, development and execution for a variety of activities including systems integration, system accuracy, system reliability, support equipment design, and systems safety. Travel 6-8 times/year will be required.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Disciplines, Business Management and Administration or similar degree
  • SECRET clearance
  • Advanced Microsoft Project and Milestones Professional or equivalent tool experience
  • 5+ year’s professional experience as a Master Scheduler with strong understanding of Program Controls and Program Performance Management processes, policies and guidelines
  • Experience developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Program Summary Master Schedules (PSMS), and Work Breakdown Structures
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic, time management, and interpersonal skills

  • TOP SECRET clearance
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP®)
  • Experience working with Strategic Systems Programs
  • Experience working with DoD engineering and acquisition processes
