The Space and Intelligence Division provides professional services to the US Space Force, Combatant Commands, Intelligence Community, and NASA. The Intelligence Programs Group (IPG), part of SPA’s Space and Intelligence Division, is a specialized provider of systems engineering and trusted advisory services to the Space and National Intelligence community.  We utilize mission-proven, data-driven advisory tools and capabilities.  We provide highly technical support to ensure the government acquires cutting edge technology necessary for our National Defense.  Our portfolio includes the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).  Come where you will be part of our high-caliber team!

 

SPA has an immediate need for a Senior-Level Orbital Mechanics Instructor.

Responsibilities

You will be part of a dynamic team of Space Operations experts to support all training activiites including:

  • Support the Lead Instructor as directed.
  • Deliver industry/academica-developed or other government-developed training to educate the workforce on orbital mechanics in ways easily understood by the workforce.
  • Provide feedback to the Instructional System Designers on training materials effectiveness and relevancy to the workforce.
  • Create, deliver, and maintain a performance measurement system focused on training effectiveness.
  • Present statistics on training effectiveness to senior government leadership as required.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 15 years of instructor experience; or Master's degree in a STEM field with 12 years of instructor experience
  • Experience developing curriculum in a technical-related discipline
  • Experience supporting the Intelligence Community
  • Instructor certifcation 

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Space Operations experience
