SPA has an immediate need for a SharePoint Developer. 

Responsibilities

The Web developer role is in support of a large enterprise IT environment, including integration with other systems/sources/applications. As a web developer, you will be responsible for developing simple to custom web developed solutions utilizing HTML, CSS, JS and other web languages to fulfill customer requirements with SharePoint as a backbone. The role is required to design/test and develop solutions following the development IT lifecycle, ensuring compliance, implementation, verification and documentation when performing roles and responsibilities.  While using SharePoint as a backbone to implement a broad range of solutions for the customer, utilization of out of the box solutions, workflows, list/library creations, and designing web pages within SharePoint 2019 is the primary focus of the role.  The role will be expected to customize SharePoint environments to meet specific business needs, ensuring optimal performance, usability, and security. Additionally, this role will use SharePoint and its capabilities to streamline business processes, enhance collaboration, and deliver seamless user experiences.

 

  • Assist in architecting, designing, and developing a large, customer-facing, service-oriented SharePoint environment for a large IT organization.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, technical design sessions, and solution discussions.
  • Document and provide clear documentation and write-ups to customers, team on projects, and break/fixes.
  • Manage web environment design, deployment, and maintenance activities.
  • Perform testing and quality assurance of websites and web applications.
  • Manage structure and content to include graphics for collaboration artifacts, data repositories based on SharePoint, and other web/collaboration technologies.
  • Provide support to assist customer content managers in accomplishing complex tasks.
  • Interface via SharePoint Designer, SharePoint web interface, and other web development software to design, develop, troubleshoot.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly
  • Bachelor’s Degree or similar experience and 6+ years of demonstrated performance with web development
  • Experience with SharePoint 2013, 2019, and other web/collaboration technologies
  • Code Quality assurance and best practices
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks
  • Proficiency in implementing and developing REST APIs with a strong understanding of RESTful principles and best practices
  • Understanding of SharePoint architecture, site hierarchy, and best practices for SharePoint solutions development
  • Maintain documentation related to web-based solutions, configurations, customizations, and integrations
  • Experience working in, collaborating with, and facilitating large and small groups, to include presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience configuring jQuery, C# or .Net
  • Experience constructing and designing solutions with Visual Code or Dreamweaver
  • JIRA project administration experience
  • Working knowledge of IC ITE Services
  • Microsoft Power Apps
