The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

 

SPA has an immediate need for a Program Protection Manager to support the onsite SPA team at Hill AFB, UT. The Sentinel Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Group (SIG) supports the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center in the acquisition of the LGM-35A Sentinel (GBSD) ICBM weapon system. SIG delivers program management, systems engineering, and subject matter expertise to ensure on-time delivery of a safe, secure, and reliable strategic nuclear weapon system.

Responsibilities

SPA is looking for an exceptional and dedicated Program Protection (P2) Manager for an exciting opportunity supporting the Air Force's Sentinel ICBM Program. This P2 Manager will directly support Sentinel’s Air Force Systems Security Engineering team at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The P2 Manager will provide technical expertise supporting all aspects for Program Protection related efforts supporting the Sentinel Program. The P2 Manager works with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) supporting ICBM weapon systems, subsystems and supporting systems. Duties may include the following:

 

  • Organizes and oversees technical performance on the contract and ensures delivery of required deliverables.
  • Communicate daily among stakeholders identifying and resolving problems and challenges.
  • Develop, review, comply with, and manage the P2 Plan, Security Classification Guides (SCGs), Anti-Tamper Plan, Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) Plan, Counter-Intelligence Plan, and other applicable documents.
  • Identify, develop, and implement efficiencies enhancing productivity and/or reduce overall contract costs to the government.
  • Serves as P2 technical advisor, consultant, and primary point of contact to the government P2 Program Manager (PM) providing training and oversight for P2 related activities.
  • Occasional travel (<=10%) is required for this position.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Top-Secret Clearance and ability to acquire any required Special Access Program (SAP) Clearance. The criteria for obtaining and holding a clearance are driven by USG requirements, you must be a US citizen.
  • BS degree with 7+ years of related experience, or MS degree with 5+ years of related experience.
  • Must have Cyber and/or Nuclear experience.
  • Experience working with DoD and/or Air Force policies and processes.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills; MS Office proficient.

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of/experience with any of the following: microelectronics, Nuclear Surety, Cybersecurity, System Safety, System-Theoretic Process Analysis for Security (STPA-SEC) and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
  • Knowledge of Confluence and Jira tools.
  • Project Management Certification - PMP/CPAM Certification.
  • ICBM experience.
