The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

SPA's Strategic Division's Strategic Development Group (SDG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering support, Systems Safety support and Financial Analysis support. SPA/SDG has an immediate need for a Program Analyst.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  Washington, DC Pay Transparency Range:  $80,000 – $100,000.

Responsibilities

The Program Analyst will support the development and execution of various efforts within Strategic Systems Programs' Missile Branch. The Analyst will be responsible for conducting program analysis and strategic planning for various topics and programs with a focus on program protection planning for current and future systems. The Analyst will gather and disseminate information, facilitate client engagements, develop and maintain planning tools, prepare reports and presentations, and present results to stakeholders throughout the client organization. The Analyst will participate in regular on-site client engagements at the Washington Navy Yard.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizen with DoD Security Clearance, OR the ability to obtain and maintain clearance.
  • 6+ years in an analytics or program management support role or equivalent military experience supporting senior leadership.
  • High level of skill with MS Office applications, particularly MS Teams, Outlook, and Excel, with strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Highly self-motivated professional who can manage their workload and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: must be able to both work independently and interact effectively with all levels of the organization while utilizing high ethical standards and maintaining confidential information.
  • Experience researching, assembling, and analyzing facts to provide consolidated oral and written reports of compiled data for senior leadership.

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • Experience with and knowledgeable of the Navy requirements and program office organizations and processes.
  • Experience with Strategic Systems Programs.
  • Experience as a military flag aide.
