Within the SLA Division, Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) comprises more than 80 staff that provide program and project management, systems and digital engineering, software, test & evaluation, logistics, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT support to more than 40 programs and projects in the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors Directorate (PEO IWS 2.0) and customers in Naval Surface Warfare Dahlgren Division’s Integrated Combat System department, Office of Naval Research, and the Navy’s Team SUBS office.

SPA has an immediate need for a Mid or Senior RF Engineer. #MC
SPA is seeking a Mid or Senior Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer to provide acquisition and programmatic support to the direct support to the IWS 2.0 Decoys product line and Navy Electronic Warfare Systems within the Navy's Program Executive Office, Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors Directorate's (PEO IWS 2.0). A hybrid work environment is acceptable; however, you must have the ability to travel to various DC area locations and NSWC Dahlgren regularly. Travel up to 20% of the time (2-3 times per month) is possible.
You will serve as a qualified Mid or Senior Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer providing direct support to the IWS 2.0 Decoys product line and Navy Electronic Warfare Systems within the Navy's Program Executive Office, Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors and Lasers Directorate's (PEO IWS 2.0). You will join a high performing Government and contractor team regularly working with stakeholders from industry, the PEO, Warfare Centers, Navy Labs and University Affiliated Research Centers, and International Partners on complex issues facing the programs. You can expect to provide RE engineering support to decoys and EW programs, and challenges in the design and implementation of EW recievers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development, make contributions to the development of technical Navy acquisition program documentation and briefings, participate in milestone acquisition events, advise on repair capabilities, and support tasking related to testing and evaluation of RF designs.
You must have some DoD acquisition experience, but we don’t expect you to be an expert. We expect you to consistently demonstrate strong attributes to quickly build competencies and provide the highest quality products and services. Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Washington, DC Pay Transparency Range: $115,000 – $155,000.
