SPA’s Joint Defense Support Group has a diverse portfolio encompassing the US Air Force, US Marine Corps, US Army, the US Surface Navy, and the Navy Manpower, Personnel, Training, and Education Enterprise. Technical analysts and engineers provide tailored program management for life-cycle systems engineering and logistics support, rapid capabilities development and fielding, cyber warfare operations, nuclear command, control and communications, and design, production, and maintenance support. Military Operations analysts provide operational and decision support to advanced studies, wargame development, requirements development, materiel operations, supply strategies, program integration, and fleet readiness.  

 

SPA has an immediate need for a FMS Analyst. #MC

Responsibilities

  • Performs an array of technical, management, financial and administrative tasks in support of the PEO SHIPS GEM AN/USQ-82(V) Program Management Office. 
  • Collects, reviews, and analyzes information in order to make recommendations to the Program Office regarding Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific (NIWC PAC), Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) efforts.
  • Define the nature and extent of problems, analyze relevant data, and develop solutions to problems to be presented to the Program Office.
  • Plan and execute virtual and in-person meetings, to include recording and tracking program actions with NIWC PAC, MDA, and FMS stakeholders.

 

DC Transparency Salary Range:  $75-81k.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technical field
  • Some experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis or financial/cost analysis
  • Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain this clearance upon position acceptance) 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 suite of tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Experience with NAVSEA Task Planning Sheets (TPS) and NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS)
  • Experience with NAVSEA processes for Price and Availability (P&A), Letter of Request (LOR), and Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA)
