The Strategic Technology Analysis Group, part of SPA’s Space and Intelligence Division, offers sophisticated capabilities (people, process & tools) to resolve unique problems in space, cyber, and special operations in support to military services, Secretary of Defense offices (OSD) and theater warfighters.  Our portfolio includes the Assistant Secretary of Air Force for Space Acquisition & Integration (SAF/SQ), Joint Warfare Analysis Center (JWAC), Space Security and Defense Program (SSDP), National Space Defense Center (NSDC), Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC), Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO), US Space Command (USSPACECOM) and US Space Force (USSF).  Come be a part of a high-speed low-drag organization providing unique and tailored solutions for our National Defense!

Responsibilities

SPA has an immediate need for a highly qualified Capability Integration and Delivery Lead for the Space Sensing Ground Directorate to join our elite team at the OPIR Tools, Applications, and Processing (TAP) Lab and the Boulder Ground Innovation Facility (BGIF). 

 

Key duties associated with this role include but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead OPIR TAP Lab Requirements Working Group.
  • Coordinate with RDT&E vendors and their respective Government Project Managers (GPM).
  • Perform work within the OPIR TAP Lab to gather, compile, and organize vendor requirements with respect to OPIR TAP Lab resources needed to perform research and development.
  • Support problem identification, capacity planning, network optimization and tuning, and virtual machine configurations that meet certification and accreditation requirements.
  • Identifiy lines of effort that are designed to fulfill the OPIR TAP Lab’ RDT&E mission. Vendor needs may include, but are not limited to, access to OPIR TAP Lab development space, access to OPIR/EM data sets hosted at the OPIR TAP Lab, access to live OPIR/EM mission data, access to specific software licenses, support for optimizing vendor applications/tools, and support configuring vendor application/tools to work in conjunction with the OPIR TAP Lab software framework.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Active Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, or a related technical discipline
  • 10+ years in Acquisitions Program Management, Aerospace, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Reports to designated work location in Boulder, CO, up to full time, based on the needs of the customer

Salary pay range:  140k-170k
