SPA has an immediate need for a highly qualified Systems & Requirements Analyst.
Seeking an experienced Requirements Analyst professional to support the Headquarters United States Space Force (HQ USSF) Chief Strategy and Resourcing Office (CSRO). This office is responsible for carrying out and executing strategic planning, long-range resource allocation, and developing, directing, and conducting USSF programming activities necessary to complete the USSF Program Objective Memorandum (POM). Additionally, the CSRO delivers integrated Service space strategies, policies, and requirements to provide organized, trained, and equipped space forces for employment by Joint Force Commanders.
As a Requirements Analyst, job duties require the candidate to be capable of applying concepts related to Missile Warning/Missile Track, Survivable/Endurable thin line (NC3), and/or Nuclear Detection systems to develop capability requirements for USSF programs.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide Space Force requirements analysis and support interface with the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the offices of the Joint Staff, Department of the Air Force (to include the Secretary of the Air Force and Space/Air Force Staffs), Field Commands, and other Joint, Service, Intelligence Community, interagency, and international partners, as required.
- Interface and perform duties to support the development of Service policy, guidance, oversight, and priorities and ensures Service integration with the JCIDS.
- Participate in the Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC) process, to include attending Functional and Joint Capabilities Boards (FCB/JCB) at customer direction.
- Support drafting capability development products such as Initial Capabilities Documents (ICDs), Capability Developments Documents (CDDs), and Service level requirements documents, such as Rapid Prototyping Documents (RPRDs), and Strategic Requirements Documents (SRDs).
- Provide support in planning, developing, and coordinating classified activities and Protection capabilities in support of USSF’s global mission and strategic Force Design.
- Study and assess innovative technologies for further development/testing and as necessary, transition planning and support, to include rapid development, acquisition, and fielding of Protection capabilities to meet urgent operational needs.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
5 years of experience in program support and or systems analysis
Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
Independent worker capable of understanding complex technical issues and producing recommendations for a wider audience
