The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.
SPA's Strategic Division's Strategic Development Group (SDG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering support, Systems Safety support and Financial Analysis support. The position is in support of the U.S. Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP).
SPA has an immediate need for a Systems Engineer to support the Navy’s Sea-Launched Cruise Missile-Nuclear (SLCM-N) Program within SSP. The Systems Engineer will play a critical role in fostering effective communications between the Shipboard Systems branch and Focus Teams/Working Groups throughout the program while ensuring successful technical processes are implemented. This position will be based in Washington, D.C.
Washington DC Pay Transparency Range: $110,000 - $150,000.
The Systems Engineer will provide technical support, review technical documentation and adjudication recommendations, plan and support technical Shipboard Technical events/meetings, and document/manage action items taken during events for the SLCM-N program. This includes tracking actions, taking meeting minutes, and leading Focus Team/Working Group sync meetings. The Shipboard Sr. Systems Engineer will provide pertinent technical information to Leadership in support of technical decisions to meet Program Objectives/Goals. Additional responsibilities will include synthesizing multiple sources of information to identify technical gaps in the Systems Engineering process to deliver SLCM-N Shipboard Systems on schedule.
