The Space and Intelligence (S&I) Division provides engineering services and analytic support to the Air Force, Space Force, Combatant Commands, the Intelligence Community, and NASA. Our work includes systems engineering and integration, test planning and execution, cost estimating and analysis, developing approaches and concepts to meet emerging, high priority National Defense needs, and assessing and developing cutting-edge computer-based solutions, advanced technologies and progressive capabilities to meet those needs.

The S&I Division comprises the Intelligence Programs Group (IPG), the Space Systems Group (SSG), and the Strategic Technology Analysis Group (STAG), which collectively provide outstanding support to help their customers achieve our nation’s most critical objectives and goals designed to protect the safety and livelihoods of all U.S. Citizens, military forces at home and abroad.

S&I Division’s SSG has a near-term need for highly qualified Mid-Level Product Support Specialists (Logisticians) to support our U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power (SDA&CP) and Battle Management Command, Control and Communications (BMC3) Support Services contract (Hemisphere) in the Huntsville, AL area.

Mid-Level Product Support Specialists (Logisticians) assist Program Office leadership performing requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability, and analysis. Will work with program and project managers to support the design, development, and instantiation of space systems and advanced system capabilities. Successful candidates we seek for this important opportunity will help enable advanced capabilities and proactive protective understanding of how space-based assets and programs operate, interact, and serve our highest priority national defense.

Key duties associated with this role include but are not limited to the following:

• Establish product support strategies that align with acquisition strategies and identify required infrastructures, processes, and procedures to maintain system capabilities.
• Integrate system engineering quantitative design characteristics (reliability, maintainability, etc.) with the functional logistics/integrated product support elements to identify product support resources.
• Integrate the following 12 product support elements, procurement and budgeting strategy into logistics activities needed to sustain system fielding:
  • Product support management
  • Design interface
  • Sustaining engineering
  • Maintenance planning and management
  • Supply support
  • Support equipment
  • Technical data
  • Training and training support
  • IT systems continuous support
  • Facilities and infrastructure
  • Packaging, handling, storage, and transportation
  • Manpower and personnel

Required:

• Active TS/SCI clearnace 
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or other STEM fields with the following equivalency:
  • Earned Trade School degree or completed Technical Training certificates in logistics and at least 4 years of relevant experience
• 3-10 years of relevant logistics experience in the Department of Defense paradigm
• Reports to designated work location in Huntsville, AL, up to full time, based on the needs of the customer

Desired:

• Active or prior SAP access 
• Active USSF/SSC/SZ or BC SAP access 
• Current Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph or willingness to sit for one
