The Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) comprises more than 100 staff that provide program and project management, systems and digital engineering, software, test & evaluation, product support, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT support to more than 100 Above Water Sensor, Undersea, and Combat System programs and projects in the Navy’s Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) and customers in Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Office of Naval Research (ONR), Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the Navy’s Team Submarine Office. #FC

We are seeking a dedicated junior Systems Engineer to provide support to the Lead Systems Engineer for the AN/SAY-3 "I-Stalker" Electro-Optic and Infrared (EO/IR) Camera System Program within the U.S. Navy Program Executive Office, Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS), Above Water Sensors (IWS 2.0) Directorate. We expect to fill this position immediately!
You will provide technical and programmatic support to the Systems Engineering Working Group Leads (e.g. Platform and Combat System Integration, Hardware and Manufacturing, Software, Requirements, Performance). You will provide technical rigor in support of Systems Engineering (SE) processes, including planning, execution and closure of System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR), technical writing, requirements management, risk management, configuration management, and technical artifact reviews. You will join a high performing team and be expected to develop a strong understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering and DoD, Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command and PEO IWS instructions and processes (e.g., DoD 5000).
