  • Overview

    The Undersea Systems Integration Group (USIG) provides Systems Engineering and Technical Program Management support to high priority DoD programs and projects within the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and the Navy’s Strategic Systems Programs by working in a team environment that relies on effective application of technical and engineering skills as well as strong communications and interpersonal skills.


    This position will be the Program Manager (PM) for SPA’s support to the Navy's Program Office for Naval Special Warfare within NAVSEA.  The PM is responsible for managing, coordinating, and ensuring proper and timely execution of task performance. They also serve as a program management Subject Matter Expert supporting clients in the management or direction of multiple programs.


    The Program Manager (PM) will supervise, coordinate, and review the work of a diverse team of engineering, technical, and analytical support personnel performing the tasks listed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Other duties include accurate estimation and execution of manpower needs, budgeting, scheduling, and assignment of work in order to meet scheduled completion dates. The PM will coordinate and manage the activity of all functional areas related to the acquisition, maintenance, and sustainment of all programs, projects, and efforts assigned to SEA 06-NSW (PMS340).


    Required Qualifications

    • Undergraduate degree in business or management related disciplines

    • 10+ years of demonstrated work experience in Program Management in support of DoD/Navy Major Program Manager (MPM) Office
    • 8+ years of demonstrated work experience supporting Naval Special Warfare (NSW) and/or SOF in resourcing, acquisitions or contract management related positions
    • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products / services; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Strong interpersonal relationship skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
    • Successful candidates will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. (U.S. citizenship is required).

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Graduate degree in business or management related disciplines
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III PM certification or 15 years of PM experience
    • Prior Special Operations Forces (SOF) military experience
