Within the Strategic Operations and Surety Division (SOSD), the Division staff's primary function is to assist line managers (Group Leaders, Senior Managers) accomplish their goals and be responsive to corporate taskers. The Division staff is responsible for SOSD Business Operations, including managing and tracking SOSD business development efforts, providing SOSD support to the corporate staff, and monitoring overall contract execution. SOSD staff functions also include direct customer support for any Special Studies under the direction of the Division Chief Engineer. The Chief Engineer establishes internal Divisional (cross-group) engineering and quality integration standards, and is also responsible for leading Divisional participation on corporate engineering initiatives.
Compile technical, financial, and other project/program information for inclusion in reports and presentations. Write memorandums, edit files and documents, and provide document management. Schedule meetings and travel. Control and monitor internal and external communications. Maintain, update, and edit recurring reports. Assist with visitor and client arrivals and departures. Arrange meetings, video teleconferences, and other gatherings as backup to the corporate meeting coordinator. Coordinate and complete logistics support for meetings of government employees sponsored by SOSD and held in SPA spaces (e.g. Seminars, Intros to SPA for clients, Program Reviews). Participate in special projects as required.
