We are seeking an Atlassian Systems Administrator to help manage our Atlassian products as well as key server administration. You will be working in a team oriented environment with talented professionals supporting mission critical IT functions. SPA’s Strategic Systems Analysis Group seeks a passionate Systems Administrator to maintain the group’s Atlassian Based Software Development Environment, and support overall administration of IT Products. Work with some of the best in the field and make an impact in National Security!



  • Maintain a small deployment Atlassian Software Development Environment (Crowd, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Bamboo servers)
  • Develop custom workflows in Jira
  • Develop Continuous Integration pipelines in conjunction with lead model and simulation developers/analysts
  • Curate group’s repository of software libraries/applications and associated documentation
  • Train and support developers/analysts to use Atlassian Environment



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, mathematics or related technical discipline
  • Ability manage and administer Atlassian products
  • 1 – 2 years of administering Atlassian Applications
  • 1 – 2 year of experience writing unit, integration and acceptance tests
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite of products
  • Ability to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance
  • Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and LDAP


  • Current DoD SECRET or TOP SECRET security clearance
  • Graduate degree in a related field
  • 2 + years building and maintaining continuous integration pipelines
  • 2 + years developing unit, integration, and acceptance tests
  • 2 + years administering and developing plugins for Atlassian products
  • 2 + years supporting national security related programs, preferably analytic programs within the DOD
  • Experience working with Agile practices
  • Good Understanding of Python and other languages is highly desired.
