    Simulation, Operational Analysis & War-gaming Group (SOWG) conducts technical analysis, war-games, and provides on-site staff augmentation services for OSD, DARPA, SCO, USINDOPACOM and other key Department of Defense organizations.

     

    SPA has an immediate need for a highly experienced technical program manager to lead and manage modeling and simulation based analysis and software development programs.

    Responsibilities

    Successful applicant will lead major software development efforts, act as the lead for the overarching software development team, manage modeling and simulation-based analysis programs and projects, and support business development activities as required by Division and Group leadership.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • 15+ years of experience in software development
    • Experience architecting and managing large software development projects across the development life-cycle while maintaining compliance with quality management processes
    • Experience with the use and/or development of DOD modeling and simulation software
    • Ability to effectively communicate with software engineers, analysts, Corporate and DOD leadership
    • Experience with modeling and simulation requirements development

     

    Desired Qualifications: 

    • Experience with DOD Mission and/or Campaign Modeling and Simulation tools (e.g. AFSIM, GCAM, STORM, NSS, etc.)
    • Personnel Management Experience
    • Business Development Experience
    • TS/SCI
