    The Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) focus is to provide engineering, technical, and programmatic support to the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors (PEO IWS 2.0) Directorate.  Efforts include overarching program management, test and evaluation, systems engineering, operations analysis, systems integration, international, cyber security, IT network and programmatic support for over 25 PEO IWS 2.0 advanced radar, phased array radar, electronic warfare, electro-optic, advanced off-board electronic warfare/decoy, and directed energy programs.  IWSG staff support a variety of tasks including: support and completion of major technical reviews; producing required acquisition documentation; meeting critical program milestone deadlines; managing program needs and external requirements, and ensuring the right resources are provided to the right priorities at the right time. #IN123#CJ


    The primary role is to provide Test & Evaluation (T&E) Engineering Support Services (ESS) to the U.S. Navy Program Executive Office, Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS), Above Water Sensors (IWS2) Electronic Warfare (EW) programs (e.g. SLQ-32, SEWIP Blk1, 2, 3). 


    In this role, the successful candidate will:

    • Assist the client with T&E planning, execution, analysis, and reporting. 
    • Provide meeting attendance/support, presentation development/support, publication support, correspondence, action item tracking/closure, and weekly reporting in support of assigned Electronic Warfare (EW) system programs. 
    • Support the portfolio lifecycle through test, integration, and delivery of hardware and/or software. 
    • Prepare and/or review technical and programmatic T&E documentation (e.g. T&E planning and strategies, T&E Master Plans, Test Plans, Test Procedures, Test Reports, Trouble Reports, Requirements Traceability Matrixes, Technical Review Action Plans and Summary Reports Statements of Work, Acquisition documents) as well as develop formal correspondence. 
    • Work with the DoD, field activities, Integrated Product Teams, Technical Teams, and various vendors to develop, identify, locate, support, acquire, and manage requirements. 
    • Track and monitor T&E risks and participate in T&E risk reviews. 
    • Support in the development and execution of program management, acquisition management, and T&E management strategies. 
    • Must have ability to understand and communicate effectively with T&E Working Group leads, technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), PAPMs, and APMs.  
    • Provide support in the execution of planned and emergent tasking, coordination and participation in technical and programmatic meetings.  
    • Other responsibilities include answering data calls and inquiries from various stakeholders; reviewing contractor T&E deliverables; coordinating in-person and teleconference meetings.  
    • Must be able to anticipate client’s needs and offer solutions and responsible for keeping a repository of T&E briefings and documentation.  
    • Must be able to develop emails, briefings, spreadsheets, papers, or other products that meet all of the expressed client requirements with high visual and informational quality and few errors. 
    • Candidate must be willing to frequently work at client site at the Washington Navy Yard.


    The ideal candidate will possess the following:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other related technical degree and/or work experience.
    • At least 5-6 years relevant work experience.
    • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, provide high quality services and products, while meeting strict deadlines and time constraints.
    • Ability to operate in a highly dynamic environment with a wide variety of programmatic/technical challenges.
    • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
    • Proficiency with MS Office suite.
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
    • Must be energetic, thoughtful, product-oriented, dependable, flexible, open-minded individual with an eagerness to learn with demonstrated strong work ethic.
    • Demonstrated forward thinking and proactive problem solving skills.
    • Experience developing high quality program briefings for clients and senior leadership.
    • Eligible for a U.S. Secret security clearance.


    Desired Qualifications:

    • Minimum one year practical experience in at least one aspect of planning for and/or conducting military developmental and/or operational test events.
    • Experience working in a Navy acquisition program office environment, with documentation, protocols, formats, and deadlines.
    • Above Water Warfare Sensors and/or Electronic Warfare experience, and/or USN experience.
    • Familiarity with the DoD acquisition process.
    • Some unique skill or knowledge to help a test team (e.g. Design Of Experiment, statistics, Modeling & Simulation, analysis, USN experience, radar / EW applications, target/range services).
    • Secret clearance.
