    The Surety Programs Group (SPG) supports government and private sector organizations ensuring the security, safety, and reliability of high consequence operations. SPG’s philosophy is to help our clients understand and mitigate mission risks spanning physical, cyber, and human domains. The Senior Military Operations Analyst will lead a team supporting SPG client projects while working closely with senior leaders in the Navy SSP/SWF programs.


    Provide hands-on strategic planning and day-to-day support to key leadership positions within the Navy’s Strategic Systems Programs Nuclear Weapon Surety Division. Lead cross-functional teams responsible for systematically evaluating client threats, vulnerabilities, performance, and cost-risk trades. Manage several lines of effort in a fast-paced environment, while facing multiple deadlines and competing resources. Understand and meet current customer needs/constraints while also anticipating direction of future analytical support.


    • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of DoD experience.
    • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and project leadership.
    • Demonstrated program management experience in the following areas: working with internal and external clients to establish task objectives and goals, overseeing and tasking a team of analysts, output analysis, briefing material production, report writing, and presenting results to client.
    • Exceptional oral and written communications and capable of demonstrating initiative and critical thinking.
    • Active DoD Secret clearance required (with ability to upgrade to Top Secret).
    • Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance preferred.

    Desired Qualifications: 

    • Advanced degree.
    • Demonstrated experience with the Navy’s Strategic Systems Program (SSP) and/or Strategic Weapons Facilities (SWF).
    • Experience providing analytical support to the Navy and/or the Marine Corps; Expertise with UAS and/or Counter-UAS.
