    The right candidate will support Joint Staff J6 (Hampton Roads) and the Combat Capability Developer (CCD) division. The position’s primary focus relates to Global Command & Control System – Joint (GCCS-J) requirements and future development of the Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) construct.


    SPA is seeking a well qualified individual for this immediate need.



    The right candidate will develop JCIDS documents for Joint Command and Control (C2) systems, maintain a Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M) for various programs, edit or update Joint C2 policy documents, organize/WG charters, execute conferences and meetings to include writing the after action reports (AARs), will provide technical analysis/advice to the government client regarding Joint C2 capability requirements and provide inputs to the JROC.


    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree from accredited college/university.
    • 5+ years military operational experience or staff experience with DoD acquisitions.
    • Experience working in the Joint Staff.
    • Hold a TS clearance / SCI eligible (current SSBI investigation).

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Prior staff officer experience highly desired, particularly with Command and Control expertise.
    • Master's degree in systems engineering or similar field from an accredited college/university.
