The SPA Joint Space and Strategic Capabilities (JSSC) Group provides support to space and strategic missile clients across the U.S.  The JSSC group has a need for a senior executive assistant and supply manager in Colorado Springs, CO.  The work location will be at Schriever AFB and Peterson AFB, supporting the US Space Command Program Management Office (PMO) customer.

 

This position is expected to be funded by 1 May 2020.

 

The individual will act as a subject matter expert on the full spectrum of the PMO operations.  This individual will support the PMO leadership team and all stakeholders with knowledge of military roles, missions, structures, and operational responsibilities.  The individual will help manage work-flow, personnel and material management, and logistics support activities associated with the design and build of the National Space Defense Center (NSDC) and other secure facilities. We are seeking a candidate with exceptional written and verbal communications skills, adept at working in dynamic situations requiring teamwork and with some familiarity with supply management and logistics support.

 

Responsibilities

Provide advice on stakeholder equities, project requirements, and relationship management.

 

Provide support and assistant to the PMO leadership team ensuring effective use of time and productive interactions with the staff and stakeholders.

 

Analyze requirements for integrating stakeholder mission requirements into the design and build process; support project schedule management, office management, communications liaison, records management, data analysis, and developing senior leader correspondence, to include analysis and summarization of findings into briefs, reports, memos, and other deliverables.

 

Identify relevant systems characteristics and requirements and applicable tactics, techniques, and procedures.  Provide supply management support by planning and processing purchase requests and other actions associated with logistical support of the PMO.

 

Analyze office and mission equipment relocation requirements and advice on the design and construction plans for administrative support areas associated with NSDC and other PMO facility projects.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 10 + years of experience in related field.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and other office automation tools
  • General management skills concerning budgets, manpower, and resources;  strong written communication skills.

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical training preferred.
