The Systems Financial Group (SFG) provides a full range of business and financial management services in support of our clients. Services include support to technical as well as comptroller divisions within our client’s organizations.  More specifically, services include daily support to business financial offices where efforts include budget planning, financial execution, strategic assessments and prioritizations in response to internal and external financial data calls and reporting requirements


SPA has a future need for a mid-level Financial Analyst.  Work is expected to begin in September 2020.


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Financial Analyst to provide prompt, high quality financial and acquisition support services for NAVWAR Headquarters (HQ) and multiple NAVWAR Program Executive Office’s (PEO) programs and projects for both unclassified and classified programs at the Top Secret and Sensitive Compartmental Information (TS/SCI) level.

As a financial analyst you will be expected to provide financial management and cost management support services for HQ and PEO/PMW programs and projects. This will require utilizing financial tools to oversee performance, financial execution and track, control, manage and report program resources. The expectations is that final work products shall be free of errors.

Financial management support areas include the following:

  • Program Objective Memorandum (POM)
  • Budget Formulation and Justification
  • Budget Execution
  • Cost Analysis


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • Microsoft Office Suite Experience; proficiency in Excel is required.
  • 3-5 years professional experience - preferably financial or acquisition management.
  • Active Secret Clearance, with the ability to attain Top Secret.

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Navy ERP experience
  • DoD PPBE experience
