SPA’s Emerging Markets Group is responsible for a broad range of analytical, systems engineering, independent assessments, strategic planning, and technology research, development, testing and evaluation (RDT&E) programs in support of new SPA markets, as well as the company’s San Diego office and portfolio.

 

SPA has a future need for a Mid-Level Financial Analyst.  Work is expected to begin in July 2020.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Financial Analyst to provide prompt, high quality financial and acquisition support services for NAVWAR Headquarters (HQ) and multiple NAVWAR Program Executive Office’s (PEO) programs and projects for both unclassified and classified programs at the Top Secret and Sensitive Compartmental Information (TS/SCI) level.

As a financial analyst, you will be expected to provide financial management and cost management support services for HQ and PEO/PMW programs and projects. This will require utilizing financial tools to oversee performance, financial execution and track, control, manage and report program resources. The expectations is that final work products shall be free of errors.

Financial management support areas include the following:

  • Program Objective Memorandum (POM)
  • Budget Formulation and Justification
  • Budget Execution
  • Cost Analysis

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Microsoft Office Suite Experience
  • 3-5 years professional experience - preferably financial or acquisition management
  • Secret Clearance, with the ability to gain Top Secret

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Navy ERP experience
  • DoD PPBE experience
