The Joint Space and Strategic Capabilities Group provides analytic support to the Air Force (AF), Joint, and Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) clients. Our work includes development of approaches and concepts to meet emerging, high priority National Defense needs, and assessment and development of cutting-edge technologies and capabilities to meet those needs.

 

SPA has an immediate need for a Supply Chain Program Analyst to work on-site at Hill AFB, Ogden, UT.

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will support the Air Force’s Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program and provide expertise and guidance in solving complex logistical supply chain problems. Assess program needs and provides recommendations for supply chain management and execution to the GBSD Program Office. Develop and recommend long term supply chain strategies and short term tasks to meet the program’s supply chain goals. Write statement of work requirements for the program office to drive the contractor to meet program goals and objectives.  Determine the appropriate solutions for supply chain problems. Plan and conduct supply chain business case analyses. 

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 12 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management with 6 of those years with progressive responsibility in providing technical leadership in the Air Force or DoD supply organizations.
  • Demonstrated self-starter possessing a passion for applying innovative analytical methods to solve complex client problems, willingness to multi-task and presenting complex ideas clearly and coherently.
  • Applicant must possess an in-scope security clearance of Secret or higher that has closed within the last five (5) years from date of employment.

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • B.S./B.A. degree in business, management or related field.
  • Familiarity with ICBMs and knowledge of DoD acquisition and logistics / supply chain.
  • Understanding of supply chain risk management.
  • Understanding of strategic grade radiation hardened parts requirements.
