Overview

The Cyber, Acquisition, Intelligence Group (CAIG) supports a broad array of clients the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (A&S) and Research and Engineering on cyber, space, nuclear, intelligence and acquisition efforts. The OSD Program Analyst - Nuclear position will be located at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. #CJ #IN123

Responsibilities

SPA is seeking a mid-to-Senior level Program Analyst to support the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Information and Integration Portfolio Management (DASD I&IPM). The candidate will support DASD I&IPM in the monitoring of nuclear delivery system modernization and sustainment activities, review and monitor acquisition programs through the DAES system, and perform basic action officer tasks such as setting up meetings at the GO/FO/SES level.  Successful candidate will have a direct impact on the Nuclear Triad acquisition programs, totaling over $20B.    

 

The candidate will support the client on-site daily, with expectations to be a high-performer, able to communicate clearly, work independently, and capable of multi-tasking.  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Active TS/SCI clearance 
  • 2+ years experience with Headquarters Staff, at OSD, Service or other Agency level 
  • 4+ years combination of nuclear policy, acquisition, PPBE or nuclear weapon system operational experience 
  • Experience with DoD nuclear policy, nuclear weapons modernization or sustainment programs, OSD, the Joint Staff, or the Services 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with budgeting, requirements or nuclear weapons programs, which may include knoweldge of propulsion systems, guidance systems, re-entry systems
