SPA is looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to work on a close-knit, multi-disciplinary team supporting the U.S. Navy from Alexandria, VA. You will be working with our team to maintain existing applications and transition them to modern web based architectures. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of developing high quality applications with modern web based technologies. This full-time position is available immediately. #IN123 #CJ


  • Participate in the entire development life cycle including design, coding, review, testing and release
  • Understand the business requirements and technical constraints
  • Design, develop, and maintain new and existing applications
  • Perform thorough unit and functional testing to ensure high-quality, defect-free code
  • Perform peer code reviews and quality assurance testing
  • Ensure that projects are fully documented
  • Learn and implement new technologies as required by the client’s operational environment



  • US Citizenship, with eligibility for a DoD Top Secret clearance
  • 4-6 years experiance preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) or a non-technical degree with demonstrated technical acumen
  • Experience developing web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and XML
  • Experience with Java, C#, and .NET
  • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and work autonomously with minimal supervision


  • Active DoD Secret clearance and previous software development experience (4-6+ years)
  • Experience and proficiency with relational database design and SQL, software development management tools (JIRA, Confluence), and distributed version control systems (GIT)
  • Experience developing to the Application Security and Development STIG
