The Simulation, Operational Analysis & Wargaming Group (SOWG) provides senior Government decision makers with timely and objective assessments evaluating military operations across the spectrum of conflict for a range of Department of Defense (DoD) customers.  The group’s primary focus is providing operational/technical analysis and program management support at the program office level, including client site support at the Pentagon and Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO). Our team of experienced military analysts and operations research analysts integrate warfare expertise with advanced analytic methods - to deliver assessments and strategies to top level decision makers. #IN123#CJ

Responsibilities

Develop program plans, schedule, milestones, and monitor technical progress against performance objectives and budget and assist in creating pathways for these technologies to enter into warfighter capability sets. Partner with Service or Defense Agency Program Offices to leverage existing capabilities in new and innovative ways and to provide expertise in relevant technical disciplines.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or other Science and Technology field.
  • 15+ years of recent and relevant Programmatic and Technical support experience.
  • Proficient in Program Management and Systems Engineering.
  • Experience overseeing projects involving the design, manufacture, and/or integration of sensors and/or data processors onto USN or USAF ISR aircraft.
  • Relevant experience as a USN or USAF officer is desired, but not required.
  • Experience designing integration tests and knowledge of flight clearance procedures for system demonstrations is preferred.
  • DoD experience assisting with the preparation of solicitations, funding documents and security documents to ensure successful program execution and maintaining close coordination with performers to ensure that program goals are being met.
  • Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel and/or other equivalent program management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and be independently motivated maintaining a strong commitment to system transition.
  • Top Secret security clearance
