The Strategic Development Group (SDG) delivers program planning, system engineering, financial analysis, safety analysis, facilities and logistics management support, CONOPS development, deployed systems support, and trade/risk analyses in support of Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP).

 

SPA has a near-term need for a Production Analyst.

Responsibilities

The Production Analyst will assist in management of the Navy’s CPS Production efforts. They will support the lead Navy Production Agent in coordination with the Army’s Common Glide Body Production Office. The Production Analyst will support program production planning and execution and support oversight of CPS contractor production activities. In addition, they will assist in liaison with other military, government, and civilian organizations to establish and coordinate programs to meet Production requirements; Assist to plan, budget, and technically manage production efforts; Assist to develop and apply production strategies and policies; and supports development of the CPS production surveillance program.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting DoD weapon system production support
  • Experience with Navy Missile Weapon System acquisition programs
  • Must be able to work independently, possesses attention-to-detail, and demonstrates initiative
  • Secret Security Clearance
  • Effective oral and written communication skills. Proficient with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel approximately one week per month in the continental United States (CONUS)

Desired Qualifications: 

  • DoD ACAT I, II, or III program experience
  • Experience with NAVSEA and Strategic Systems Programs sustainment activities and processes
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate
  • Top Secret security clearance.
