We are seeking a motivated Systems Engineer to provide Systems Engineering support to the U.S. Navy Program Executive Office, Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS), Above Water Sensors and Lasers (IWS 2.0) programs.  You will provide Systems Engineering (SE) support for the Advanced Offboard Electronic Warfare (AOEW) decoys product line directly reporting to the AOEW Assistant Program Manager. You will provide support in the execution of implementing SE management practices including holding requirements Technical Review Boards, planning and oversight of installations including subsystem testing and certification, and developing tactics for ships, helicopters, and system mission plans for utilizing AOEW decoys. You will provide technical rigor in support of SE processes, including planning, execution and closure of System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR), overseeing Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) implementation, Risk Management, Requirements Management, and assist with Local Configuration Control Boards (LCCB) preparation, coordination, and execution as necessary. Additional responsibilities include supporting planned and emergent production tasking, coordination and participation in SE community and programmatic meetings, plan and coordinate ship integration efforts for the product line, and support Test and Evaluation to Developmental Testing planning and execution. CFIUS is an interagency committee authorized to review certain transactions involving foreign investment in the United States and certain real estate transactions by foreign persons, in order to determine the effect of such transactions on the national security of the United States. The candidate will:- Review CFIUS filings, to include documentation relating to mergers and stock purchase agreements, corporate ownership structures, and USG contracting information.- Conduct due diligence and fact-finding research with DoD stakeholders to assess risk arising from foreign direct investment and the implications relative to DoD’s security interests; defense industrial base supply chain, dual-use technology transfer, personal data and cybersecurity.- Perform analysis on available CFIUS documentation, DoD subject-matter expert assessments, and classified finished intelligence.- Author risk-based assessments regarding certain foreign investments and advise the CFIUS Mitigation team with recommendations.- Produce case summaries, talking points, and action memorandum for senior DoD leaders, up to the Deputy Secretary of Defense, on a daily basis.- This position is fully onsite at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA.
