The BAA Coordinator will support the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency's (DARPA) Information Innovation Office (I2O). The BAA is a technique utilized by DARPA to contract for basic and applied research and certain development efforts. The BAA Coordinator will work closely with I2O Program Managers to ensure that BAAs are completed in a timely manner for specific, classified and unclassified government programs. The individual will primarily oversee the entire Source Selection process from coordinating the industry days and drafting and routing of the BAA to inspecting and determining the sufficiency of reviewer and SME evaluation sheets. This will also include working with various stakeholders to ensure that technical concepts and objectives are translated in an effective and efficient manner. The BAA Coordinator uses internal tools and databases for proposal review tracking and Broad Agency Announcement generation. Technical writing duties of the job include review of BAAs, proposal technical assessments, research approach, and cost realism. Successful candidates will apply on-the-fly problem solving and critical thinking skills to address challenges or unanticipated circumstances that come with research solicitations and the acquisition process.

Responsible for formulating, developing, assisting with implementation, and documenting each assigned exercise/engagement. Specifically, the contractor shall plan and organize assigned exercises, estimate costs and funding within assigned budget, and conduct all phases of the exercise planning cycle from the time of assignment through the after-action assessment.  Coordinate and communicate with other offices and activities (e.g.,USINDOPACOM, HQ PACAF, other service components, NAF agencies, Wings, etc.) that have a role in the assigned exercise. EPOs shall coordinate with USAF and/or other service component planners and their staffs to provide guidance, assistance, and training to ensure continuity of effort and the orderly management and execution of the operations and logistics support functions. Be familiar with historic inter-country relationships, and country specific customs and courtesies while planning PACAF participation in assigned exercises and engagements. Additionally, EPOs will account for current and projected PACAF force structure (i.e., country location, name of Wings and NAFs, type of aircraft assigned, etc.), PACAF roles, responsibilities, force presentation doctrine, and capabilities (i.e. Commander Air Force Forces (COMAFFOR); Joint Forces Air Component Commander (JFACC); Air Operations Center; etc.) when coordinating with partner nations and other service components. These factors will be key to shaping and scoping PACAF participation in the full JELC of exercises/engagements. Support the Navy SSP customer in a fast paced new Acquisition development program for the Nuclear Sea-Launched Cruise Missile (SLCM-N) program.  The successful candidate will support the integration of the nuclear surety standards into the design of the cruise missile air vehicle, warhead, guidance, navigation and controls systems, and shipboard systems such as the fire control, launch control, launcher, and use control systems.  This position will lead the coordination and integration efforts for Nuclear Surety and Use Control designs and integration across multiple Government and Contractor organizations.  This position will be responsible for coordinating between the system level design activities within Navy SSP, warhead design activities executed by NNSA, the Air Vehicle design activities occurring with NAVAIR, and ship integration activities primarily executed by TEAMSUB.  This position will lead a cross-team working group to ensure surety and use control requirements and specifications are integrated into the subsystem design and engineering teams.  This effort includes the evaluation of the stockpile to target sequence (STS) for the warhead and system and establishing and managing environmental specifications across the system to ensure interfaces including the mechanical, electrical, shock, hydrodynamic, temperature and pressure environments do not exceed the STS specifications. Working group coordination activities will include technical planning, scheduling, and execution of critical design, integration, testing, and verification activities throughout the development and integration processes.  The position will provide leadership and management support for multidisciplinary study teams and perform study planning, coordination of modeling and simulation tasks, evaluation of study results, evaluation of contractor detailed designs, data extraction and analysis, development of decision briefs, and briefing study and design results to to senior program leadership.
