The Analyst will serve as a Subject Matter Expert providing support to the Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) COLUMBIA Class (CLB) Project Team in Groton, CT. Specifically, the analyst will help the Project Team plan and execute key construction and test activities supporting the integration of the Strategic Weapon System (SWS) aboard CLB submarines. This will generally involve interfacing with senior government and industry stakeholders; participating in planning meetings (both in person and virtually); reviewing and providing feedback on technical plans and processes; and assisting with the resolution of issues. This is a part-time hybrid position. The analyst will be expected to attend in-person meetings as required in the Groton area.
The Systems Engineer will provide technical and programmatic systems engineering support to the TRIDENT II missile. They will support headquarters level planning, development, and execution for a variety of activities including systems integration, system accuracy, system reliability, support equipment design, and systems safety. Travel 6-8 times per year will be required.
