As an SDA Project Engineer at SPA, you will be assigned to support the US Space Force’s Space Systems Command, Operational Command and Control Acquisition Delta, known as Kobayashi Maru. Kobayashi Maru is responsible for continuously delivering impactful software for space operations. The program office’s mission includes the development and deployment of software for space defense, space domain awareness, and enabling data services. As an SDA Project Engineer, you will leverage your knowledge in software architectures, algorithms, development, patterns, implementation, and integration – to advise various teams on executable approaches to deliver solutions that meet the end-users needs, while complying data, platform, test, and schedule constraints. You will take on the most complex aspects of the project and recommend short-term and long-term solutions to resolve pain points in the system with clear deliverables and action items.
