Responsibilities include supporting the Model-based Mission Engineering (MBME) initiative, which is a proposed approach to the massive, comprehensive digital engineering transformation, as envisioned by the DoD Digital Engineering Strategy. MBME utilizes digital Mission Thread (MT) and Mission Engineering Thread (MET) models to provide a mission context to concept exploration, capability development, and throughout the systems engineering and acquisitions life cycles.
