SPA is seeking an experienced Correspondence Analyst to support the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Strategic, Space, and Intelligence Portfolio Management (DASD(SSIPM)). The analyst will support the DASD (SSIPM) Front Office in strategic planning, process, and workflow management, and support the Front Office through management and control of office processes including correspondence tracking and staff package review, editing, and processing. Additional responsibilities will include training new personnel on SSIPM office processes, coordination and execution of weekly meetings, preparation of correspondence for DASD (SSIPM), and division support requirements.

This position is located on Naval Station Norfolk, doing high visibility analyses on maintenance, readiness and cost, directly informing decisions on inventory sustainment efforts. You will be a subject matter expert on a team of quantiative analysts, understanding how to best direct analytic efforts to inform the customer's decision space. This teaming approach ensures the analyses are immediately impactful and your team's are actionable for decision makers. The Senior Analyst will provide support to the NAVSEA AUKUS program, serving as a strategy advisor to program leadership. The Systems Engineer will provide technical and programmatic systems engineering support to the TRIDENT II missile program within SSP.  They will support headquarters level planning, development and execution for a variety of activities including systems integration, missile avionics design, and financial contact for the upcoming TRIDENT II missile system.
